Interesting, I dont recall seeing a blue x, I do recall the SP. Was it a late addition?

Black is base, blue is $250 and red is $500 more for the X color choices.Some dyes must cost more than others?????

I was thinking the same thing. The black one was just too plain this year, but I thought the blue Sp was better looking than the X. But I wanted the better boards and shocks so I snowchecked the Blue X, with the idea to buy black side panels if I thought it was too blue.

personal preference I guess. Blue X looked nice to me. All red is just to much in my opinion. Blue and black SP reminds me of 06 rev we have. I have a white freeride, get black and you wont see the tree sap

I’m in the same boat. I had intended to check a ‘19, but there isn’t any real evidence that a new one will be any better than my ‘17. Given the unresolved issues and poor response from brp, im not eager to reward them with more of my money. I’m already what most would consider high mileage, so waiting another year isn’t really going to affect resale anyway.

I suspect we will see some new trinket in ‘20. Following brp’s cycle, it’s possible that will be the last year for the G4.

What if the G4 chassis sticks around as long as the XP with slow small improvements over 8 seasons....

I don't see them re designing the clutch area, primary, secondary, belt guard, engine mounts for a single season in '19 and then release a new beast in '20....
