They still are encumbered by district gerrymandering, DC just can't vote. More people living in DC than some whole states can't vote.

Why so many voter restrictions ? Who's afraid of a fair vote ?

DC residents can vote in presidential elections, but not senate or congress since they have no senators or congressmen. Again....facts still matter to some of us.

Anybody that is against voter ID laws is obviously afraid of actual voting results. There is no rational reason not to support voter identification laws. The notion that minorities are incapable of obtaining verifiable government identification cards is incredibly racist. Referred to as the soft bigotry of low expectations, but I would call it worse than that. All of them that are receiving assistance already have to have an ID, so who in the hell are they trying to protect? It really is a scam, and like you posted.......afraid of actual voting results.
