It's crazy you can buy a parallel kit for the Honda 3000 and the 1000 but not the 2000. Doesn't meet our electrical code apparently.

Here's my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. I have a 40 foot fifth wheel with 15K aircon that I use all summer long. First year, I ran a Honda 3000. Super quiet, but SUPER heavy. Sold it over the following winter. Bought a 3600w Boliy. 75 lbs. worked great. Half the weight, but a bit noisier and had an odd "whine" that always bothered me. Ran it for about 3 or 4 years. Sold it last winter and got the 2 2000W Yammies. Under 50lbs each. Very quiet. REALLY wish I would have gone this route right from the get go. Our friends run the 2 2000w Champions. They've been happy. They stack which is nice. And they're pretty darn close to as quiet as my Yamaha's.

If price is a consideration, I got the 2 champions on sale at Canadian tire for $499 each and the parallel kit for $90 which is less than 1 Honda or Yamaha.

All great advice here. I like the idea with the two 2000w generators.

You can go on you tube and find tutorials about how to make your own cable that will work with the honda eu 2000 cdn versions.

I am too scared to try with mine lol. I bought a new 2000 and a used 2000 and then figured out they didnt have the plug ins for the parallel chord, pretty disappointing to say the least.

I saw an ad today for a 2000 watt parallel ready Kipor. Anybody have any experience with them?
I had a 3000 watt kipor. Ran just fine and quietly like the Honda and Yamaha. Sold it due to weight. Was going to buy a 2000 watt kipor but the deal I got for a yammy was pretty much the same price. So I went blue.

if you are going to do 2 x 2000 - Champion .. get online from Costco just before summer and try them ..
I did , but returned them as sometimes one of them seem to kick up and then they would trip the breaker ..
but Costco took them back .. and they use 2x the room for storage

but I get the costco 3000 champion ...
70 pounds , always kicked up when required ...
ran 10 + hours with some air contion time ..
equal loudness to a Honda ...

will not be returning this Champion
