Pretty sure this thread was started when the xm first came out! You will never notice that while riding. Look at the slop in cats handle bars and guys aren't concerned about that! What's the next thread going to be? There's rust on my drive shaft?

Was looking at this with nick lastnight. Seems the whole skid will move side to side an 1/8th or so creating a knock at the top bogggy wheels. Really seems like there should be a washer in there or somthing.

I have had this on all the xm's that i own , and it caused the track to rub the sides of the drop bracket and fray the sides on the track on my T3. What i have done to rectify the issue is take the axle out of the sleeve of the kit and machined it down a thou. now the skit is nice and tight in my tunnels, no more slop and now when i set the track center in the skid it stays there.

All t motion rub on the sides, as the arm moves to the side and track goes up to top wheels-tunnel is being pulled-looser to the side it's tipped to

and that is what snopro said, all the XM's with t-motion other than the T3 174's. It is interesting that there is not one post on DooTalk about this perceived problem.

Re: .

Maybe the OP can post a vid or a pic of the problem area. This may be a problem and we are all assuming is the same slop in the top shaft as in the previous MY sleds.

Re: .

The track rubbing makes me laugh as they have did that for a long time.
Any kind of colder temps and it freezes up terribly bad due to the cooler melting snow.
Look at any Doo with some Kms on it and the lugs will be chewed up from rubbing on the outside.
