Bottom gear might, top gears from 12-14 were different. They were held on by a bolt, new ones are just one of those retaining clips. 2015 top gear should fit. However, 2016 gears/chain are suppose to be Borg Warner so they should be stronger FWIW.

Also, Im currently running the equivalent of that ratio on my '16 153 and I find it is still to low (and im 250 lbs geared up). Might want to try 21/49 - which works out to a 2.54 gear ratio with 7 tooth drivers. That's the lowest I would go. Im trying 2.45 next.

2012 and 2013's ran 21/49 gearing
In 2014' they changed the gearing to 19/50
In 2015' they upgraded the jackshaft to the snap ring and removed a spacer but still the same 19/50 gearing
In 2016' they switched to Borg Warner and new part numbers but the gears from the previous models should still work

I agree you will want to gear it up more then 20/49 I run a 2.25 ratio on my Proclimb

Was thinking of going to 20:49 as well. Anyone have a part # for these gears? Found the 49 online somewhere but can't find a 20. Dealer is no help either. Thanks.

I geared my 2016 LTD to a 21/49 with the 7 tooth drivers, although I have not tried it yet I expect it will be an improvement. I would recommend anyone with stock gearing inspect the chain case and gears. Mine had excessive wear on the 50t aluminum gear @ 270 miles. The automatic tensioner was working as designed, the gear is just too soft. I did add a manual tenisioner and steel gears and dont expect any issues now. If left you will experience a failure of the lower gear and most likely the bearings as the oil was fairly chunky. I know guys with high miles on these cases with no issues yet, but it will happen sooner than later. I dont know if the extra load from 3 inch track accelerated the wear. I hope this saves a few bad trips to the mountains.
