gear ratio question

Im looking at buying a reverse kit for my turbo apex. I have found a kit with 20-39 and one that is 21-40. these are very close but I might have a 19-43 which is totally different. what is everyone running for a boosted apex gear ratio? I run between 14-18 psi! do these big power sleds need to run lower gears? I thought a higher gear ratio might work better!

20-40 in mine. Out of your choices i would pick the 20-39, 1.95 ratio. High track speeds create alot of load, easier on the belt.

i think mines 20-40 i think you need that for reverse.

20 40 gearing is the best you can have for efficiency with the Apex reverse.
21 42 is the best combo but there is no reverse gear bigger than 40. Turbos,
20 40 seems to work great. Shad
