Isn't that ramp going to help the wolves in their pursuit of the flat land caribou? Guess we're to blame again. They'll end up closing off that area of alberta to sledders too............ Hahahahaha :) ............ Oh, wait, this isn't b.c. ;)

ramp is built like a cattle gate, all the 2x4 cross members are on edge, therefore wildlife will more than likely stay off of it, and it gives snowmobiles traction as the track has something to grab!

Glen & Don Jabush did an awesome job designing and building this thing!

Rick your not to far off the mark on your question. When we were working on the ramp a wolf crossed the river about 1/2 mile away. Sara spotted it and took a pic of it. Another thing your close to is that the area has a herd of caribou that they think are there. Thats another reason for us as snowmobilers to become established with marked approved trails in this area. harder to kick us out when we have a system up and running. South Athabasca regional plan is coming within a few years we need to be ready. Lots of clubs need to be ready for this one. Caribou issues are here in Alberta also
