Does anyone know where to get an external mic/speaker for a rino so I don't have to keep taking it out of my pack to talk?

Thread is a couple of years old, so i thought maybe we could bring it back to life and update it some. Want to see what everyone is using, and what is working or not working.

i have used the mic/speaker on my 655 hunting all the time, i normaly have my 655 hard mounted to the dash of my XM, i was thinking of putting it in my pack and running the mic along the shoulder, but out sleding i normaly only use it when we are parked. if we are communicating up a tree trail or if someone is stuck an i need to see the screen to see where they are.

I just picked one of these up on eBay. Ran me right around $30 CDN shipped. Worked great. Stuck my Rino in my pack (which keeps it a least 30cm away from my beacon), and ran the cord out the top and along the strap. Attached the speaker / mic to the chest strap. Can hear it when riding and it picks up well enough when keyed to talk without moving it closer to the mouth. Only downfall was it took nearly 3 weeks to show up from China.

So I too went down this road a couple years ago, then I realized I needed to see my Garmin rino screen more often then carrying in the pack allowed. I retired my Motorola microphone/speaker and mounted the Garmin on the handlebars. This was great but had a few occasions where I got separated from the sled. I now have a second radio in a bag sewn on my back-pack strap on my left shoulder. The second radio is easy to hear and transmit from but for tracking I use the rino.

Anybody having trouble with the cheepy Motorola speaker mic? Tried using one for a few seasons and I can't get it loud enough to be worth carrying. Would like a higher quality speaker mix but I'm having trouble finding a good quality one.
