When you have tracks saved in the archive section why do some of them have to be zoomed in to see where you rode? I have some that are just a dot until I start zooming in.

Your scale is too large when your not zoomed in enough.

there is a repair center that can do it. cost ? gps city or gps central should be able to give you info!

I just called CommGroup where I bought it. They ship it out and it takes a month to get it back and its half price of new. Owch. Looking for info from someone who had one repaired and how much/long etc it took... Is it worth reparing?

only thing you have to remember is if you ship it to the Canadian repair place out east they dont repair it they just replace it and with a CAD model. I bought the US model so i had 5w and did not want to lose that so i got a friend in the states to send it in so it was replaced with a US model.

I think my battery is toast
it is only a couple years old and used it maybe a handful of times
battery only lasts a couple hrs and is dead
charged it up the other day and is dead again without any use
does anyone have a battery they don't need anymore or know where to get one at a decent price
im not impressed with this unit at all
it is the us model with 5 watts and from new it would only get 4 or 5 miles at best and that was in the wide open and could actually see the other guy in the truck
wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone

I was going to have mine sent in by a friend and they (garmin USA) said I registered the device in Canada so they wouldn't be able to fix it and keep it 5 watt. So if you do buy an American one don't register it in Canada with the garmin software.

not gona sell it not worth it
unless you want to give me 600 bucks
I talked to Garmin and they said to try do a software update and see if it was any better
I did the software update and will see how it goes
also he said the 5 watt was in the hardware not the software
and i still have 5 watts
so if it doesn't help i guess i will have to get another battery
(should be an NDP grant for that being that its green energy )
