Ive Been wanting to go to one of these events for a couple years now but the closest one is in Kelowna a solid 1200km from where I live... So I decided to host a event in northern sk. This year I’m sure it will be pretty low key but hope to turn it into a yearly event with more than just my buddies show up. We have mapped out over 500km of trails and only had to cross 4 highways. The point of the event is to complete the course in a pos and pick up as much trash as possible along the route. Got a few ppl with vehicles already so it won’t be a complete flop. Ya should be pretty epic. The east side between 3 and 4 will be pretty awesome to most of its old rail bed. Grassy roads and some water holes that will require snorkels for the cars.

Niice, I'll let some people know in the area, I'm only an hour east, and will be spending about 5-6 weeks working in the spiritwood area this summer.

The Badillac is almost ready just need to fasten the roof rack, install a snorkel and do some more cutting so I can steer. Car has about 12 inches of ground clearance.

Should be a pretty epic weekend sounds like there’s a lot of ppl coming but who knows how many ppl will flake last minute. Got the car done and I have a week long permit on it so it will be the daily driver this week.

Event was a success 7 vehicles for the first event had a great time and made some new Friends. Will be a yearly event now can’t wait for 2020.

That van was a beast. Welded rear diff bald rear tires. The driver was a animal. Ever time we went through a tough part of the trail we though there’s no way that van is going to make it and he proved us wrong every time. At the end of the weekend he ghost road it a wfo into the bush. I wish I could post a video on here and not just a link to YouTube

Good point, but in these parts of sask, most of those trails are on farm land or road allowances..... and we dont have enough population out here for them to worry about.

Looking forward to 2020 pictures... I might just have to build a car for the crew!!

All roads were traveled with road legal vehicles were government staked roads However out of context these pictures could look bad To a greenie.

Check out the 2020 trail. It sounds like the event will be much larger than last years. Going to be stopping at a few interesting sites through SK and cleaning litter up along the way.

Trail is about 650km with camping at the furthest east point.

This event is not a race it is a challenge to push that $500 dollar car to its limit.

I was trying to get a couple buddies together to build one for the BC race this year but we missed our window. It was sled season for me, other buddy is having a 2nd kid and 3rd is building a truck for the shop truck challenge in Kamloops as well as LS swapping his bumpside Ford. Maybe next year.
