Was out this morning with my granddaughter , called this guy in , plus his buddy came in to see what was going on and hung around 40-50 yards away for 15 mins or so , had to chase him away ! Nice bull .
I prefer moose to beef in any formMemories that will last forever! Never eaten moose before. What’s the best way to eat it? Roast? Sausage or jerky?
The rifle is not pointing at us, its leaning on the moose in front of us , pointing no where near us . But , if you were right , it would have been a safety faux pas , but you’re not !Congrats on the nice bull harvested & the memories to go along with it.
On a critics standpoint of things tho I cringe when I see a hunter posing with their harvest & the muzzle of a rifle is pointing right at them, clip in & the bolt or action is closed
Tika. .338 FederalWhat caliber did she use
I was born and raised near Burns Lake , moose was major part of our diet , my mom had many different recipes and methods , my favourite was and still is canned moose meat , delicious , and super convenient. I prefer canning with a few different spice combos , roasts from the hip area , a few steaks , minute steaks , burger , and farmer , summer and salami sausages. Not a fan of pepperoni or smokies.Memories that will last forever! Never eaten moose before. What’s the best way to eat it? Roast? Sausage or jerky?
