I don't see a problem with the fuel, as we run it in the quads sometimes. It's whether the octane is high enough to prevent detonation caused by higher temps, right?
I have ran aviation in my past 3 turbos w no issues. You are pushing the limit at 18 pds. i am assuming the motor is shimmed or low comp pistons. What turbo are you running. A garret 2554 will not pull that, prob g28? What elevation are you running?
rods and low comp and .060 head shim has allready been done . Im running mcx rear mount kit 310 hp @ 2500 to 6000 ft. (Pine Pass).
Have been beating on cats for the past 3 years, traded my 08 600 sno pro for this thing. Any helpfull hints on these snow machines will be awsome.
been picking up fat chicks at the bar lately just trying to get used to throwing around big girls.
I have a 06 mcx rear mount 310.....with a head shim. I run 50-50 chevron 94 and 100LL (av-gas) at 5-8000 feet at 18 psi. butI have turned down the boost to 14 psi and still keep the same mixture........so I can just turn up the boost when needed.
