I just cranked my s/c apex up to 220 to 240hp is anyone mixing their fuel with racing fuel or are they just running pump gas.

I just cranked my s/c apex up to 220 to 240hp is anyone mixing their fuel with racing fuel or are they just running pump gas.

Little different set up but my boss runs a 240 turbo nytro. Runs alright on pump but loves av or race. Lots of miles on good pump though. No damage. Still running strong. I'm sure someone who knows more than I will chime in though.

BB I thought you were sellin that sapex? If you have not lowered the compression then you need race, or higher octane. I'm only running 8psi and blend avgas with pump gas. If your motor is stock and your running 11psi your going to need minimum 98 octane (good to as low as 3500ft).

If the motor is stock and you run straight pump gas the motor is not long for this world.

d mills, I'm betting your boss's nytro has a head shim to lower compression.

dunno bout the superchargers but i run 60/40 (c12 / premium) up to about 18 lbs of boost on my t-apex. 300+ hp
