Fuel Gauge Accuracy

Anyone else notice the fuel level Gauge is "hit and miss" for a lack of a better term??? Or is it just due to the Huge air pocket that forms while filling up since the sled has such a rake to it.... sled says full when leaving gas pumps, but about 10 minutes later im down to 3/4 ( and that's also after squatting the rear end to try to eliminate the air pocket)

Mine is the opposite. I have to burn about 15L before it'll drop even one bar on the gauge.

lol, ya. the fuel gauge on the xm is unreliable to say the least. BUT the rest of the sled is sooooooo sick, ill deal with it

When has the electronic fuel gauge been totally accurate? But I agree, not that big of a deal. It's better than nothing.

it'll pretty much always show full if you are pointing downhill ..

Ya IMO the gauge sux for reliability.
I wish we could have the old white plastic tanks like the old rev's had. Best system ever.

Or even the float balls like the rev had.
