i recently broke both my drop brackets and am fabbing up stainless ones, but am now considering freeride drop brackets. in the parts book it shows them being different than the weak ones on the summit, but the diagram does not show an actual pic of one just a rough scetch and a price of 90$ vs 30ish on the summit ones. I cant find any pics of them on the net. can any help me out w a pic of a freeride drop down bracket?

Freeride ones are a bit thicker. Not by much.

You might consider putting stock drop brackets and racers edge re enforcements back in.

I actually just changed out mine on my 2013xm, The new ones are better they don't have the relief hole so they are stronger. I have always had the racers edge reinforcements on didn't help mine from breaking off, the board flex too much.

lol 8 of the five dollar ones for the supports to the boards and then part 390 402 400 rivets for the tunnel. The second ones are only .35 cents each

I just bought a 2013 xm 154" and both stock drop brackets are cracked.
So are the new Ski-Doo brackets the way to go?
It's for my wife so....should be ok to go with the stock brackets? Are the new stock ones beefier than the original ones?
