the article I read says they have located it but have not gotten to it yet, its fairly remote and they are working on getting people out to check the crash site.

Right where my cursor is, is where I'd say that photo is taken from, looking SW down the highway. Quite a bit farther away than they maybe originally thought, but still so close to the highway.

If it’s actually that close to the Hiway, that should be a relatively easy and quick recovery. Compared to a remote mountain recovery.

Ummm.... if you need a runway in the mountains, you always look for a highway. Pretty low chance of hitting someone in the short distance of actual landing. Most vehicles can get out of the way.

That close to the highway and they were never found. To me that means unfortunately they probably died upon impact. Be nice for the families to have closure for sure but still a sad end.

So reading back in earlier posts, the drone pic of the potential crash sight was actually the crash site???? Looks very similar.
