Not sure if anyone had a sled stolen or if it just broke down but we found a 04-05 RMK buried in the flats at the back of standard basin. We dug down to the seat and turned our beacons to search mode with negative results. Spread the word in case it was stolen. I can be contacted for location as it will be fully buried next snowfall.

We found the same sled and thought that it was odd that a sled in fairly good condition was just left there. Made for some good pics though. The first of myself and the second of Sleeper700.

maybe the engine blew and instead of taking out the trash and vouching for the chopper the douche decided to leave it behind as an ornament.

I know if would be almost impossible, even in the right conditions to tow it back up that hill from standard cabin to keystone basin.

Not sure, but there is a salvage act, so if it's been abandoned and not stolen it may be fair game....... For the dude that brings it out or else the owner will have to pay a removal fee.

Ok enough is enough with this sled. My company and company paid the salvage fee to take the heli the sled off the mountain to prevent any bad names being broadcast about sledders. Took the sled to Revy Police and had it sit for three months. Then it became the companies sled. Ripped the head off and found it to be only the piston. Sled had 1000 miles on it. Just waiting to possibly auction it off for charity or not certain what will happen. But atleast the sled is not an environmental hazard or bad name for us sledders. :) Appreciate the thanks if you feel this was the right thing to do. Bobo was part of all operations as well.
