I haven't been up, busy with holiday stuff.
I know a couple club directors are going up today.

Since we haven't had any snow since Dec 8 I have other things to do instead of breaking my sled and it's the busiest time of year for me work-wise.

Still very low on snow, a little fresh over the holidays but nothing substantial.
Still not enough snow on the trail for a proper groom with the drag.
Trail is good to the Welsch Lake trailhead (38km). Gets a little rough after that.

Went out to Golden yesterday....never seen it this low in Jan.

Made it to the meadow on Thursday. It was really low. Creek was still flowing past the cabin on the way to the Meadow. Trail was pretty good until the last 3km and the funky bridge could use another cleet or two.

The ramp was only intended to be temporary until the groomer got up to push a snow ramp but that has been delayed.
It snowed last night, got 5cms in the valley and 10 at the resort.

Good dump of snow last couple days. Things should be filling in but still lots of hazards.
Groomer is running tonight, working out some bugs after major repairs this summer.

Trail groomed last night and the snow bridge has been pushed. Going to let it set up for a few days and then push the cat to the cabin.
Temps are going to be warm, freezing levels up to 6000' this weekend. Use caution.

Rained pretty hard in the valley this morning and super warm up in the basin. Fresh snow from last night was like mashed potatoes, like spring riding.

It's really low coverage, didn't even bother to probe. I would guess we are a meter short in snow, like riding in may, cut off tree stumps showing everywhere. Snow bridges in the meadow caved in or non existent.

Nothing substantial, groomer going out Thursday to put the trail in to the cabin.
