Friday the road was glare ice for part of Westside Rd and from 4 way up the Horse. We didn't go up but the guys who did parked along the Westside road and took the dogleg route. Said it was ok past dogleg and up. The pics of the road look nasty and the snow is low up there.

The road to forster from radium is really bad going up the hill after the bridge. Been trucks in the ditch. Access through invermere via westside road which is sanded by hiway department to the 4way intersection and up to dogleg staging.
Wvss and toby creek adventurers sanded the horsethief fsr and forster fsr to the trailhead.

Was up there Sunday. Trail was nicely groomed. About 20 cm fresh in the meadows but it's still a mine field. Buddy and I made it up to the lakes after a dozen tries. This current system should dump some nice snow.

Road was great. Plowed to the trailhead. Sanded up the Radium hill. Not sure what it's like with the latest snowfall.

Westside road is good, only 1 big hill at 20km. First hill out of radium is the worst and i would chain if you have them. Westside from invermere is easy.

Buddy was in yesterday and 50cm new and dumped all day.
Thanks santa, just what I asked for!

I was hoping to get a few guys out there later this week or on the weekend! Will see how it goes! Good to hear that we are getting more snow now! Will update before we head out to see if there is anymore news for the area!

Trail was groomed sat pm, was snowing when we left the cabin.
Need another couple dumps to cover all the land mines.
