There is 1cm of nukage in the forecast for Thursday....This will really change things around. I was up in Forester before the dry spell. Went for a ski tour up to the Olive hut. The forester meadow had less then 10cm....Glacier snowpack was 110cm

Sweet-Looks like you hit snowline. Good amount above treeline! Unfortunately Forester Meadows is below treeline.... But if you tell Mountain Sledder Magazine the GPS coordinates they can put it in there next edition of there guide book and every Newbie can find there way up there too and they won't have to sled the meadows at Forester all weekend. cough-cough- sarcasim...

Yup, got 20cms in my yard yesterday , temps at +1 now......

Alpine had close to a meter on sunday.
More on the way until sat night, then clearing for sun.

Anyone been out yet for the first couple days of December? We're thinking of heading out tomorrow. Cheers

Reports of waist deep in the meadow. 6" at plot, 18" at gas drop. Use caution, stumps are hidden but with no base will be found easily.

A bunch of locals have stepped up and are getting involved with the local club wvss.
The focus is to generate enough funds to replace the 1981 groomer. Which means there will be volunteers collecting fees at the trailhead regularly. The vollies will be located at the upper parking lot, if you are parking at dogleg remember to stuff a 20 in your jacket.

Also working on a deal to have businesses in radium sell day and annual passes.
Remember These vollies are giving up days of riding to do this.

Grooming should start very soon if it has not already started and will be done Thursday nights(as long as the tired old cat keeps chugging along) .

Also note the catamount is closed until feb 15. We are lucky enough to be able to access it then so please don't give other user groups a reason to try and take access away.

For those who facebook there is a wvss page and will be updated with info.
