Im not a ford fan, but i do like the Raptor. Its a nice truck and you can do some off roading with it.

But if you try driving it like trophy truck you'll find out real quick that it isnt one...

Just curious if the lightning drivers will act like the majority of Tesla drivers and do 90km in the passing lane all over BC. Wondering if it’s a EV thing or just a bunch of really stupid people.
If they can draft the slow moving Tesla's in the fast lane they can probably achieve better efficiency.

Called a few ford dealers and it looks like if you don't have a reservation it's going to be a 1-2 year wait.

To the mall
If you want to out run the police, just drive further than the mall.

Which there in itself is the stupidity of the whole green initiative. Hurry up and buy to save the planet but wait because we aren’t ready for the green revolution. What a joke

It's a fad. We can't sustain it anywhere. Makes everyone look good that they are trying

Can’t get a diesel 1 ton.
Can’t get a combine.
Can’t get a tractor.
Can’t get a PlayStation 5.

If an electric f150 was available would you buy one?

I would wait 6 months for a new diesel before I waited 2 years for an electric truck. There is nothing I have seen in that truck reported yet that would change my mind yet with low range towing before charging. Don’t need a PlayStation either. Lol

If I was a city dweller and commuting to work everyday I would consider an electric car for that and then dump it just before this new fad fizzles out and people start having to pay what they eventually will for power.

How stable is the electricity price compared to gasoline/diesel?

If a 50-90 cent/litre swing in gas prices are gonna put you over you are living above your means already.

As more EV's hit the road the charging prices are gonna go up, then they are going to have to figure out how to put to road tax on the vehicles.

Right now it's stable but I would think the costs for the new distribution and charge stations needed plus adding road taxes will increase the rates substantially.
Government can not continue to subsidize this initiative.
