$ for a cord of wood

A true cord is 4' wide x 4' high x 8' long. How much for a cord of seasoned birch?

Now from what I understand most people sell a 1/3 cord 16" x 4' x 8' or a half cord. How much should a 1/3 cost and how much should a 1/2 cost?

A family friend is offering us some seasoned birch for a "donation". Would like to keep it honest.

why don't you open the yellow pages and ask a few wood sellers what there price is. this should be a retail price. you will get prices all over the board otherwise.
