Yes, but I don't want to be on FB. Whether they are the same or not, I enjoy theGram but not wanting to join FB.

I just want to go to public pages without being a FB member. Surely, Avalanche Canada doesn't support the BS about having to be a FB member to see the Southern Rockies Avalanche Team page.

I can still get the information but it is more the principle of Google doing what they are doing with FB.

Just like the other day, we were talking and someone said "Google" and another guys phone picked it up and made a noise or something like that. It would pee me off if I knew my phone was listening to me.

S&M is their FB from what I see . A lot of useless info that nobody cares about . But same as FB move past it . Lol.
You can set FB up anyway you want and use it that way .

Don’t get me started on Pinterest... because of that website I’m expected build everything that looks cool cause it’s built out of recycling. My to do list keeps getting bigger.

It is nice to see that Avalanche Canada followed up my note to them....I knew that already about FB and I also knew not to hold my breath waiting for anything to be done. There are other ways to get the information and it is just a principle that FB is being prickish about.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do about FB stopping you from seeing these posts. They control who can access what is posted on their platform and can block access to non-users at any time. We will file a comment with their help department, telling them this is public safety information that needs to be accessed but knowing FB, I wouldn't hold my breath on that. We'll try though.
