I drove back from Plam Spring this weekend, diesel was 3.65 to 3.99 a gal. Even in GreatFalls it was 3.99, California was about 4.05 to 4.10, but didn't buy fuel there. We are getting bent over up here on fuel prices.

Ya, lets give another kick in the pants to those that get off their a$$ and go the extra mile so they can make more money than the average person.

And by which communist method do you want to use to accomplish this; Subsidize the poor, tax the rich, have the state own the oil companies, or a combination of all 3? We already live in a society that punishes high-income earners through higher tax rates, and rewards lazy people who repeatedly get laid off through EI.

Sorry for being harsh, just pi$$es me off that everyone wants to be of equal wealth, but not everyone contributes equally back to society. Society will never be equal.

Nice! I agree with you! People complain to much about high gas prices! They go the the gas station fill up on gas that cost $1.30 a litre then go inside bitch about how much it cost, as they grab a bottle of water off the shelf that cost over $1.50 for half a litre! Water comes from a tap for free lol. As an Albertan I don't mind paying a bit more for a tank of gas cause in a oil and gas driven province that means my job is going to more secure.

Sorry did not mean to pick on the well to do. Was thinking of people on fixed income. On one pension say from the forest industry witch could be around $1500 at most per month for two people and what they get from government. Also what ever they saved while bringing up 3 or 4 kids. You could say most of the baby boomers. so too you I say very sorry to up set you. I can eat crow with the best of them.
