Fluorescent lights

Looking to buy some good fluorescent lights for my shop need it to be real bright any ideas?

What size of shop? Are you lookin for fixtures or just tubes? My misses works for eccol electric so with a bit more info she could help ya out

If your ceiling is over 10' I'd put in 4 or 6 lamp T5 HO fixtures. Great light and no noise.

reflectors also make a big difference on the fixtures, you might want to research bulb colors a bit, paint your shop bright white if you can, light colored floor, a few lights on side walls are sweet to, especially if you have a designated work bay area, 6" off the floor is nice for working under a vehicle. Ahh. the options

^^ This. THe only down side is the initial cost of the fixture and tubes. I have installed a ton of these in shops and garages. Best lighting period.
