Flooding on yellowhead

This afternoon eastbound lanes of highway 16 between Stony Plain and Spruce Grove. They dug up the culvert as the water had backed up and crossed over the eastbound lanes, into the median and a bit onto the westbound lanes.

6:00 news said both directions are now closed. I have to find another way to work on Monday

You can take highway 16A which actually goes right through Spruce Grove and Stony Plain and continue west that way. 16A eventually meets upwith yellowhead.

West bound is open. It'll be a few days before east bound is though. They're working on replacing the culvert now.

Highway is open now, both directions although they are not done working yet, just slow down there.
