I think that's the chimney for the little wood stove (square black box)

Yes that is the chimney, it will get a bit of an upgrade, the one supplied is pretty light

I am a dealer for it so have cut offs from time to time, this stuff is quicksilver so slippery like crazy

Very Nice. Fish aren't biting? Who cares, the cherry whisky will taste just nice in that beautiful shack. Might I suggest hanging the Fob further away from the open floor hole.
