ive never wrecked anything early season, knock on wood. and ive been doing it now for the past 5-6 years

the people that wreck stuff go to places like clemina in valemount early season which is basically where they grow rocks for canada and northern usa.

i try to ride the places that are mostly muskeg/alpine/trees in the summer. my sled bounces off trees and stumps. rocks not so much.

Right on man! In the early season, one needs to know where the rocks are and where to go. The lakes/sloughs and meadows are our early favorites also. But there are lots of hazards and after riding those places for 10-11 years one gets to know where the nuggets are and where not to go.

Some of our basins aren't safe to go into until after Xmas as there are huge nuggets in the creeks that we have to follow. The young guys with deep pockets or little between the ears sometimes break the trails early and it isn't nice. A-arms, tie rods, skies/spindles and worse case are the guys who tweek the bulk heads.

Hey Maxwell, those guys hitting up Allan in October, can they leave from the parking lot on their sleds, on snow that is!! Or is there a bit of rough ground to cover first before you get to the snow.

Our last trip this year was July 7th, and out first trip a couple years back was on Oct. 12.

The line between the end, and the start of the season is really starting to get fuzzy.... gotta love this global warming thing:).
