First rain of the year for me came on March 22nd out here by Russell Manitoba. Heard lots of thunder but saw no lightening and we received 1-1/2" of rain throughout the course of the afternoon. Snow was disappearing fast and a bunch of us thought it would be fun to be out 4X4'n down a summer implement road. In total there were 4 stuck trucks, 3 tow ropes and not 1 shovel in the bunch. Sounds just like the Corb Lund song...lol. In the end everyone made it out and 1 truck was minus a back window...oops and no camera. The beer definitely tasted good that evening.
