Should a guy be mixing the first tank of gas? Dealer says no

Thats the same thing my dealer told me the computer does that all automatically for the break in period.

NO....especially if it is an E-Tec.........

adding more oil for break in will actually lean out the mixture that your are jetted for

The E-tec is a direct injection fuel distribution , you are doing nothing but putting unwanted oil in the combustion chamber . This was done on carbureted models, the E-tec does not need it.
