Down in Vancouver today and saw a good layer of snow above Eagles pass on the way down, its getting closer:):)

I stopped in Lake Louise on my way home from the Shuswap on the weekend and there was alot of snow up high on Mt Temple, there was also lots in Rogers Pass.
Bring it On.
I say it will be sick the weekend of the Sled show here in Calgary( Nov 12) as I will have to work and miss out on the fresh pow, the next weekend is another story....Brraaappppp

GOLDEN trip first for sure! Should be Nov first or 2nd week, should be ok on the carbides X fingers lol!

Well i've got my perdiction of snowmobiling this year I perdict first weekend of riding in the kootenay area in bc will be November the 5-7. Anyone else got some perdictions

i rode oct 7 last year and the 5th the year befoe. i hope its not that late!!!

I don't have pictures and some will think or tell me this is worthless but.....

In 2005 on Sept 11, I had my first ride that season!! It was just up the hill, with 12" of heavy wet snow, no base and lots of rock ticking the skis but it was first ride!

5th anniversary today and it feels like it should snow again today.....just saying

i believe ya on that one, in sept 05 some guys in blue went sledding some where they wouldnt tell me where, lol but there was 3 feet of powder with a little bit of base

well, a few of my buddies in smithers bc went out for their first ride yesterday. i only saw pics but it looks like they had plenty. i'll find out what spot they were in.... if they'll tell me- lol

Now that is nice but I have a hard time believing that is from yesterday; I'm skeptical.....but it a nice picture....:beer:

i'll have to do some investigating, find out if they're full of crap or not, but i hope they're not, cause i already told my wife i'm goin up there in a week or two.

i'm a bit skeptical on that one as well I'm sure they are getting sum but when u look at highway cams from passes in that area it is bare

well i talked to those guys and they swear it was last week. still don't believe them, :eek: but i sure want to :d just can't wait to hit the powder. they said it was up on what they call the onion, for those familiar with the area, its like half hour from smithers up around 6000+/-feet.
