There is basically 0 good mountain sledding in Alberta. Lots of nice mountains though, with plenty of snow.
If you want to sled Alberta, you ride trails.
So not much to say on that matter. But yeah fawk the ndp.

Well I would not argue the location of the best sledding , the principle of the matter was more to make my point ... I agree with the NDP part .. Lol

Lots of sled closures in BC, it's a constant battle to keep area's open too.
Revelstoke snowmobile club is very well organized and brings in 200,000$
a month, just in trail passes, in a town of 7000people and still has to fight hard
to keep areas open. I'm on your side, I don't want to see these areas closed. It seems like
a losing battle though. That's one of the reasons I gave up on mudding out west, I enjoy that too.

I totally agree .. It can quickly become a case of be careful what you wish for . I am no sled guy , to say the least ... But close revy or any other area's main source of revenue .... And trust me , the silent majority will then speak up ... Loudly !
To believe that we can build bridges over every mud hole and pay for and sustain that required enforcement & maintenance is pure nonsense ....
only a NDP voter would fall for that BS .

Can't say if yer right or wrong! Didn't take them long to shut in oil n gas industry or put the coal industry into the toilet.
Yes and this will be one more tax payer funded financial blunder ; too please the few greenies that voted NDP . If the current path the NDP is not changed ( and quickly) none of them will be around to worry about bridges , the day after the next election ...people talk evnviroment lots when there is lots of $$$ around , when half the people in the province can't find a job because of unwarranted closures of viable buisness's by this NDP government ..... They will be worried where the next meal comes from . Not where the next hike is ....

True! But i wonder if they give s chit

Yuppers, just got back from North Shuswap/ North Golden as I road many miles of roads with bridges over 98% of the creeks less the washed out sections.

Lots of lakes and many boats help up change my plan...

Quad in the morning, motor boat the after-noon away, and drink coffee by the bone-fire till the sun comes up to start the next day.

First ohv ride in BC started in 2001 as I've returned many times there and free land Arizona.

I'll cross many creeks this year when they are frozen now that I have tracks,,, shouldn't stir up and river bottoms at that time of year.

Just my buck & 1/2. Pal Don
