Did I read this right? That the V8 Hemi motor's last year of vehicles is 2024, and in 2025 it is replaced with an inline 6?

Unfortunate, but not sure I'll miss them. We had 5 2500's with the 5.7 Hemi in the fleet at work, 3 of the 5 had lifter rollers fail taking out the cams.

The famous Hemi Tick.
My father in law has a 2020. Been in a few times for the tick. They keep telling him it's nothing. I'm sure they will find a lifter problem once the warranty is done

I had an 03 Dakota with the 4.7 V8, it had the tick also. Although it never seemed to cause any engine problems while I owned it. Was actually a nice smaller truck to drive for the most part.

And $22 too $2700 ish if not more a pop when they need too replace the turbos

Plus labour time and taxes...

Pretty costly adventure if both turbos crap the bed...

Ouch...

Our 23 jeep wagoneer has the 3l inline 6 twin turbo. The hurricane. Drives smoother then the 6.2 in my denali. So far so good. Had it a year and only 8000km on it though. Just did the first oil change myself. Thank you jeep for making it nice and easy👌

What year is your Denali? SUV? What vehicle do you find nice for creature comforts and such? I am looking at a new SUV for the Mrs and between the Grand Wagoneer with the inline 6 or the Denali with the 3.0L diesel. Wife is more leaning to the Wagoneer but GM is more willing to wiggle on the price it seems.

My denali is a 19 1500 truck... 130 thousand on it now. Havnt really seen the new ones inside to be honest. The jeep is a SO series 3. So loaded right up other then the HO engine. Couldn't justify an additional 30g for that. Wife wanted a jeep again as we had a grand Cherokee with a hemi. But it was just to small for the big family.
