Well if Ur in good puff snow Ur going to want more places for air.

I have the stock spot , I snorkled it on either side of the head lights- gauges.

Still plugs up and when u need the jam it bogs it seems.

Went one more. Put a 2 inch flow rite on the mag side of the lower air box. But made a velco cover so its not open all the time sucking in snow or belt dust.

As far as deanos t stat. Well I'm on the fence.

Just installed a d.j clutch kit and have 2 buddys that do his mountain test and tuning for him. I know it works cause if u seen the way these guys ride its insane.

The rave valve mod if its the same as the sled shed in revy they take so much off the valve so it moves persay sooner - faster.

Not to piss anyone off here, but how can you be on the fence with the theromstat. Hot is hot, heat fade is heat fade. Anything over 130-135 degrees your losing hp and your stat is a 145. Now im not saying buy mine but please buy something and fix that known problem. And please dont buy a cheater harness to fool the ecu, its a bandaid for a crap setup fix the problem and move on. As far as my rave setup being different its marginally different but still achieves the same end result and there is far more to it than just machining the valves. Did some more testing today on a 2011 ptec 154. Our clutch kit, shim kit, raves, t stat, reeds and re geared to 23/49 and im very impressed. Hope to here from you all soon.

Well for now dean its going to have to wait.

That's a weekend ride worth of cash for a t stat.

Dunno but 1400 miles and its still running.

I'll see how the extra jobs I get in here pan out. But for now the stocker will have to do.

Unless u rent to own ??

Understood sir. I never said it was cheap, however it does sound like you are experiencing heat fade and i believe in fixing the problem before you throw money at mods. I would be more than happy to help when your ready.
