Crazy ass snow down there fernie/whitefish... Just came back a few hrs ago, body sore after seven long days of endless powder day after day.. We probed whitefish yesterday just south of dam and 12 foot probe was not long enough.. Heard Over 15'

The powder is great. Lots of untracked remaining but the "Legendary Fernie Powder" only lasted one day...........................that was last Wednesday!

Last Wednesday was epic; the two G4's made it to the top and then I had to go looking for the flatlanders. Made for great video and the audio sums it up!

The day started with 20 cm of fresh in the driveway in Elkford (the sculptured pattern on the deck railing was an interesting start). High in the trees the snow was great once again in Fernie. Climbing lines and popping into untracked meadows was fabulous and naturally, the higher one went, the better the snow.

It certainly was a stellar day. Lots of untouched powder and great riding partners
