Slowly but surely, we are getting there. Another couple of fine neighbours from the east showed up on Sat. and a big thanks goes out to Dan (takethebounce) and Jess for their helping hands. Their dog Jersey kept us entertained throughout their stay.

Well Doug if there's anything that you guys needed welding I could Fab something up for you. I'll look at my work schedule for the next couple months and see if there's any time that I could swing down and help for a weekend.

The chitter is rising out of the ground............I can't delete the second picture and it wasn't supposed to be there. That is "beaver row" just past the first bridge over Coal Creek. I had to cut that sucker up to get by on the way down on Sunday. A young couple didn't know what they were to doo cause they couldn't get there little car past. Lot's of poplars have fallen on the road since the beavers moved in.

Canfor hired a faller and yesterday he cut all the trees that had teeth marks in them. They are logging up there now and those trees are a safety issue.

Only in Fernie, would those suckers be allowed to continually build a dam and a house. Friggin' tree huggers..........

They can do alot of damage if not kept in check. Hard to believe our national animal is a rodent and the USA has a majestic predator bird. Hmmmmmm...

I've been told on several occasions.............there's a thread for that Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........hahahaha

I guess the beaver was pretty important when the country started but sometimes the old farts (ie the Fathers of Confederation) have trouble putting things into perspective.
