still snowing and snowing hard in the cranbrook area it's gonna be unreal in fernie this weekend. I was riding at castle ski hill directly east of fernie by 75-100km's and they got hammered and still getting hammered with snow! they are predicting over 4 feet at castle ski hill over the past week so its gonna be great!!!!!!

I just drove through Sparwood from fernie on my way home and the highway wasn't closed west of Sparwood. It was actually pretty good, a lot better than this morning.

I groomed today and there was 24" or 60 cm in the staging area parking lot. A real good dump!

ski hill is reporting more snow, they are now up to 5' in the last 7 days!!!! have fun and be safe this weekend!

It was crazy deep last night when I finished grooming. Avi conditions are HIGH today and taper off. This is normal after a storm but with this amount of snow and wind there will be areas of uncertainty and one has to be careful. The main trail will be fine all the way to the cabin and the meadows.
