Talked to Hotrod this morning all trails re-groomed and in excellent shape, suppose to cool down this weekend, should keep things hard!! About a foot of new snow has fallen up Renshaw in the past 3 days, Lucielle and Belle had some also but not sure how much no reports. Heading up solo, everyone bailed for the second week in a row!!

Higgins I'll try and touch base with you when I finally get some days off. Want to get out for a couple days of sledding but with my luck it'll be mid week and no-one will be available to go. Hoping to get home around March 2nd.

Rode the last 3 days at renshaw. It was pretty amazing considering all the traffic last weekend. Found untouched snow all three days and we were able to make it back to spirit on Wednesday. No one bad been back there yet and we had a blast! Snowing pretty hard when we left today on top of the fresh foot of snow that had came last night. If it keeps up, it should make for a great weekend! Wish we could have stayed but duties call I guess.

Would have had to chopper in fuel to make it back that far on the weekend.

Yeah I would imagine so. The wind set things up pretty good on Tuesday so the trail in was pretty good. Once we got in though she was handlebar deep! Doesn't take long to burn a tank of fuel in those conditions. Need a fuel station back there.

Yeah that would have been great. You should have a good weekend out there. Hopefully she keeps coming down tonight cause it looks like you might get some sun which would make for some epic riding!

What kind of rider are you? Belle is more rolling meadows and not too challenging, Lucille has a bit of everything. My first time in McBride we only road Lucille and really enjoyed it. Last year we went to Renshaw and is is amazing!!! long ride in (32km groomed trail) but it is a huge riding area and a little more challenging. We are going there this week and hoping only to ride Renshaw. A lot of time there is so so snow on Lucille and Belle and Renshaw gets dumped on. Hope this helps.

We rode belle yesterday. Lots of fun. You have to go deep in the trees to find the snow though. I think anywhere you go there will be good snow. Might have to look for it though.
