Heading up friday night, hopefully some more new snow. Ride smart people and becareful

I finally got my sled back together for our first trip of the season that saw us head up Renshaw THursday and Friday. it was socked in Friday and Blue Blue skys Sat and Sun. Understanding the Avy risk we stayed off any complex terrain and burnt all of our fuel in the trees and on small climbs. There is a good base now and only saw the top of one rock just below the surface that i managed to pull away from at the last minute. Wanted to head back to Spirit but untracked terrrain and the Avy risk kept us in the main valley. The first guys into Spirit this week will have an epic journey !

Wow I can't believe its February! Well Renshaw was last groomed on Sunday night for Monday morning and has had 5 guys on it to date, Lucille was groomed Monday night for Tuesday morning and I am not sure if anyone was up there today but it wouldnt' have been many, and the plan is to groom Bell tonight for Wednesday morning, I hope everyone has a wonderful week, we have snow in the forecast starting tonight for the next couple of days, so I guess we will see what happens.

Remember, stay off the extreme hills and STAY SAFE!

The wind has blown in some snow clouds and it looks like it's snowing lightly up top right now. -9 this morning, but should get up to about -3 and is supposed to stay mild with some light snow through the weekend. Not as high an avy risk right now, but I would suggest everyone be careful anyways.

Hey I am am wanting to ride saturday and sunday but I don't have a group to ride with. I would like to meet up with some guys there, so if I could tag along PM me.

if not you can always meet up with some at the motel or in the parking lot at the hill..

There are always alot of guys that go thru the shop in the morning. You could always stop in here before you head out to the parking lot and probably be able to hook up with some other riders here at the shop in the AM.

JUst thought i'd post all three links so can look at all three and it's supposed to snow tomorow and friday then clear up and be sunny this weekend. Should make for some sweet ridin.

Well its snowing up a heck of a storm right now, supposed to warm up and turn to rain tommorow, then cloudy, then more snow then sun, so here's hoping for SUN! Have a great weekend!

I imagine that there will easilt be a couple feet of fresh pow up top since yeterday and there is no sign of it stopping yet. BRING ON THE SNOW!!!!

I was up Belle Mountain yesterday. Lots of untuched snow and snowing hard. Came down around 4:00 and there was 6" of fresh on the trail. Wonderful day of tree riding. Good base with about 18" of fairly fresh snow.

Lots of snow it's great!!!

Well we got about 6-8 inches of new snow at the Y up Renshaw over night and then it snowed another 3 inches while I was there! Renshaw trail is being groomed this evening, for Saturday morning. Also a note to everyone riding belle, please use both sides of the loop, only one rider has gone up the left side of this trail as I understand it was getting grown over last year however I am told that it has been brushed and had some trees removed and both sides are in great shape!

Well forecast says more snow for tommorow and sunday and then sun and cloud for 3 days, and we never got the rain so YIPEE!

Hello again, just a note to let everyone know that Renshaw trail will be groomed again this evening for Sunday morning and also a note to let everyone know that the collecters are usually located at the Y now, not in the parking lot, depending on weather etc sometimes there will be someone in the parking lot but as a general rule we try to always be at the booth which is at the Y.

are they groomiing all the way up to the cabin or are they stopping at the bottom of the hill still? heard that at the end of january they were not going all the way up.

Renshaw is being groomed for the whole trail all the way to the cabin, at the middle of January it was difficult to get the drag thru the shute due to an extreme dump of snow, but it is being groomed all the way.
