Hahaha. Yah you bet. Looks good. It's a sweet spot to play up the renshaw. If there is a couple feet of fresh snow it's a place you dont usually go because it's a pretty good hill to get in and out of. If you look in the background of the pick i posted with the guys in it we just dropped in and then stopped at the bottom to have a look and i wanted a pic because of the blue bird day.

That is an awesome spot to play. Thats where you come out if you take the back way in down the cut line at km 25 or so. The other way to get there is to go over the saddle and keep going to the left.

The area that you are describing in these directions to me sounds like the area called blackwater. The pic i took is after you do the big drop down into winebergers bowl. Absolutely awesome place to play.

I decided to pop on over to Snow and Mud and see what all the hub-bub is about... and I see this thread of Fernie's!! YAY!!! Fernie is over here!! i don't really post on Doo-talk anymore so I'm stoked to find some of the old gnag from there might be over here!

Hiiiiiiiiiii Skadi! We're still around! My better half and I are still riding, grooming, and taking pictures.

I still do the DooTalk and will get into it a little deeper as winter goes on. Both are amazing sites but i think that S&M is quite a bit closer to home. Some great peeps on both sites.

Did some sled shows for Tourism Fernie and while in Saskatoon, lo and behold, Sledgirl pops up, "do you remember me?". Totally took a "golden moment".....I didn't recognize her, said so, and off she went to see what deals she could muster up.

This was last spring at Blue River...I'd made this hill the first few times but then LOFT kicked in and I stuck her vertical on a 45 degree slope. Had to roll her down, last pic is me riding my shovel down.
