Yeah they were all stuck, in ten minutes all seven of us were stuck out at Alberta Bowl. We headed out for the second week of January last year, oh man, I've never been in snow like that before!!! A lot of digging was done that week.

OMGosh....this thread has gotten to the second page; must be time to rescue and add a few more......grandson with probe on Boulder. The snow is packed and it is 8' deep. Not the deepest up there but impressive just the same.

pic was taken in the kootnays on the flats at my grandparents farm, went down for christmas and it snowed a foot everyday we were there on the flats!! the hills were soo intense!!

I'll do my best to help you thru this heat wave.....the first one is breaking trail and we're trying to find a creek crossing after a year's worth of errosion, the second is an April smokie lunch, and the third is the start of a blue-bird day in the mountains....

Well, last year on our June ride we rode in T-shirts, but this year was an overcast day and a little colder... I was glad to have my coat on...
