Anyone else a Facebook junkie thats needs therapy other than me?

Yea, my wife and kids LOL...

I have an account, and occasionally will go on there, but really dont see the point to it all. The reason I lost touch with all those people is that I either didnt like them or no longer had anything in common with them LOL. There was a reason we didnt talk for 20 years. And honestly I could care less what color everyones bra is (I live with 4 women so that was the talk of the house lol).

The only real pictures I have on there have been posted by the wife and kids...

Here is something funny though...I do some network marketing, and have a couple business pages on there, and suprisingly THAT seems to work a bit...

AND I did build a kick-azz zoo in competition with the kid, havent been there for ages either so I hope they dont need feeding, they will all be dead.

LOL You sound like my husband. I put him on there and it annoys the hell out of him. And I'll tag pics of him so that he gets every single comment that goes on the picture. Ha!

I dont use it to catch up with people I havent talked to in 10 years...I think thats weird to. I do use it to meet up with other moms with kids the same age because I dont know many people here especially ones with kids. All my friends kids are graduating already! lol I decided to wait til I was really old to have kids. And aslo to hook up with others to ride with. Yes I started a group on there for quadding in central alberta lol. Ya ya ya...I know, I know.

LOL, sorry, my farming days are over...been accused of being a zookeeper for a bit, and had a real addiction issue with Bejeweld Blitz, but both of those are over lol

I will say one thing positive about FB...I worked at a company for years that went into receivership this summer. Lots of young guys, and lots my age (older lol) and I started my company right after. I needed to find all these guys, and everyone had a company phone so no one had numbers for anyone. My wife suggested to try FB and I was like no way...Found them all in a matter of days...

I find it a great tool to share the stuff i have been up to with my family that lives pretty far away. I also use it to keep in touch with people back home. It's pretty handy, thats for sure.

I won't admit that I'm a junkie.. my boyfriend thinks I am, I go on once in a while and I do stay in contact with friends I graduated with, family and so on. Mainly I post up pics, I have 50 or so photo albums for all my friends and family to look at. I dont have Facebook apps like farmville, zooville and whateverville, I dont really join groups, etc etc..I use it for its basic purpose. Also, Facebook has given me the opportunity to connect with my long lost sister, whom I found on Facebook, and now we meet up from time to time (met her for the first time in 23 years last year..) we stay connected on FB..

It does get me in trouble sometimes.. I often forget I have family members that see my status posts from time to time and sometimes they get spread to the wrong one.. oops..anyways thats my blurb on facecrack

I'm a Facebook junkie. I don't want a support group, cuz I really don't see it as a problem. I can quit anytime I want too... hehe!

My family lives 8 hours away, so they get to keep up with our lives on there. Also, I run a photography business and lots of my clients are from the Facebook Network- they see my work and contact me. Plus, I run the gymnastics club in our little town (read as "got suckered into volunteering") and it is a good way to contact parents etc.,

I tried my hand at farming, but everything died. Other than that, I just like it. Although, I've been on S&M alot more than facebook lately... but that's because it is supporting my sledding addiction. Don't need a support group for that either!!

i'm on it, i do see how pointless it is but i'm just kinda sorta....... well you know...addicted ;D but it is a good way to keep up with people i havent seen for 8+ years

I'm Gas Can on facebook as well. Took a break from it for a few months and just got back on recently. My wife is a full blown addict I think, and has all the farms and restaurants and stuff going on there. We waited to have kids till later on as well, and have 2 young kids ourselves. Add me if you like and i'll send you her name to add as well.

I check it prob once a day, get updated, read everyones statuses. Allows you to keep in contact with friends and I've made new friends through it. Use it to plan trips, and get togethers with family. Also used it to share our wish list with everyone last christmas.

I believe one on one communication is a lot more indepth and we have strayed away from this with all this new technology... but thats another thread in itself .
