Has anyone tried one of these models? If so how does the frt suspension handle the trails up and down. Seems like a good idea but wonder how the struts will hold up on the rough trails?

For deep snow or boondocking should work good

Would handle bad on rough trails. Almost anything else would be better.

Have you driven one? Just wondering how they handle the rough stuff. I dont think it will be as good as my XP but how close. Seems thet are a hit down east so wondering about here. I like the idea of less drag with the struts compared to the A Arms. Just wondering

Guy at work just picked up the 550 version and loves it takes everywhere the mountain sleds go not as fast mind you but it goes handles the lumps pretty well on the trail and keeps up to the group...

Doesnt that Bear cat weigh something like 800 lbs, I seen one they are huge, good for a trap line or work horse but dont get it stuck.

Haven't driven one no but the people out east that are buying them are likely not riding on a trail at all. In snow like we have around here you wouldn't notice the suspension i don't think but if you are going to be riding in the mountains with them you have to ride trail. As for a 550 Tundra LT going anywhere a mountain sled can.... I'm pretty sure I could find somewhere to drop into that a 550 anything couldn't get out of.

Tyler this sled would be to ride in the snow NOT a workhorse.
That will be next

heard the extreme tundra is amazing that 600 etec pretty powerfull and great fuel economy. 16x154x2.25 and only 495 pounds dry weight (my dad is looking at one too):d but
price tag is more then a summit 800r.:( may as well look at the skidoo expedition 1200 4stroke or 600 etec or summit 800r sp (i just bought) or artic cat side :nono:m8(my buddy just bought) or f8 ext or z1 turbo ext:d (my dads looking at this one also)

I was at the Peace River dealership today and as I pulled into the lot they had a tundra extreme outside fueling it up. got to check it out real good and I must say, it looks like a pretty cool machine. to me it looks like it would be a nice ride for someone that isn't going to thrash it down a moguled trail, and I would bet it is a more than competent deep snow machine. the way the pan is in front with the struts is like a big ski, I bet it floats well and would be a blast carving in the powder. it looks bad azz up close, love the blacked out look.
