Hi, I am wondering whats the best deal for gas can racks that fit on the back of your tunnel, or even if you have seen some i haven't,or if you have made a custom one. I have seen the CraiggerBuilt Quick release system and the one from Mountain Addiction, I have a 98 summit 670 X 136 track and there ain't alot of room back there on the tunnel. thanks :beer:

For me, the quick release is way to much junk bolted on the back, The MA type is only good for their cans. I prefer to be able to strap on whatever I want back there.

VMI Racks or that style of rack are whats the hot ticket! Very versatile.

Check with A-plus Machining in Lloyd. We have had some custome made there and they have the pattern to water jet them. You can put whatever you want as a logo on them and then custom drill your rods to whatever size of can you carry. Don't let them drill the holes for you. They quoted us over $150 just for that. You'll be around $100 for the rack and can mount it in minutes. Powder coating at a place just north of Mr. Sparkle on 62nd.
Good luck

I got a 04 viper and let me tell ya, not a lot of room on the back, picked up the MA track rack, fits well with room to spare around the heat exchanger ( big issue why i couldnt get conventional gas racks) it looks good, holds the cans good, and is sturdy, yes you have to use MA cans with it but thats not too big of an issue. Hope this helps buddy. Cheers

You put the Poo stuff on the Doo and it will run faster and better, everyone knows that Bill. They can even custom cut the length so the Doo can handle the weight.

Buddy put 2 eye bolts on his tunnel extension. Add a ratchet strap and you can tie down anything that'll fit.

Used QRS on mine and just a AC rack with some home made straps for my wifes. Both seem to work alright.
