Not sure what brand of exhaust would suit your bike best but any time you increase air flow, you need to re-jet.

On bikes like that the best thing to do is remove the air snorkel and open up the exhuast a bit. We did this on my dad XR250R and I was impresed on how much more power it made. You can buy endcaps for them on ebay that increase performance.

use to run muzzy on my old xr350 might look for one of them they seem to wake that bike up. i wonder if a exhust from a crf250x would do any good they look good and pull the baffle out it sounded good on a 250x.

250X exhaust wont fit without some serious saskatchewan farmer fixin...wrong diameter of pipe and the mounts are totally different. I would think a slip on would work fine, I have always used FMF pipes and have never been dissapointed. Open up the airbox, install a twin air filter and go up one size on the pilot and two on the main and you'll be smilin :)

I had a supertrapp slip on on my old xr200 sounded good and was tunable by adding/removing baffle plates.
