Exhaust pipe sealant

hey guys, just installed a SLP pipe to an MBRP can. my stock set up had some sort of silicone in-between the can and the pipe.

what is this?? some kind of high temperature caulk? i need to buy some. thanks

If you want the best stuff, go to a Honda dealer and pick up Hondabond HT. Sealed up the muffler joints on my 250f with it 3 years ago and still no hint of a leak.

If you're using silicone to seal the exhaust system, don't use High Temp Red, use Ultra Copper. It has a much higher temperature rating. It's available at Canadian Tire or most auto parts stores.
