it is possible to have a muff pot on stock can on the 850 and works good, its on the backside of muffler, opened up heat sheild the size of muff pot , rivet bracket to heat sheild and done. ive ran stock exhaust for 10 years while others change cans and we have never noticed enough difference in ride or power to justify the cost of the can

I put a slp can on my xm and lost rpm on long pulls. Put the stock heavy weight back on and it held 8000 all day long . Sold the can.

My 850 cooked awesome on the stock can. No need for a muff pot. I could burn pizza in 20 mins. Cook steak bites in an hour. Foil and parchment paper is all u need. Mouse poison under the hood for summer. Had some little rats inside my sled one season cause the grease smelled like food. Lol

I stayed with a stock can on my new sled, keeps the weight balanced. Have a ggb on my sons t3 and it sounds mint.

I rock a Sled Shed Cooker Can.. Love it.. Wish it was quieter though.. I don't mind the noise but whenever someone complains about that sleds, it's about the noise.....

SSI makes the best quality cans the market. They don't make any HP but they don't loose any HP either. There cans are only 7.5 Db louder than stock and are competitively priced. Arctic Cat, Polaris and Skidoo. Stainless -$339 and Titanium - $649.
Check your local dealer for stock. If not Altitude Power Sports has stock in Edmonton.

I put a MBRP can on my Yammy SR Viper. I like the sound of a triple, even if it is a four stroke. It is about 20# lighter on the front end, which is nice.
Can't say it changed performance cuz I have had on since I brought it out of the showroom last fall.
