In them hills.
Another problem with this plan is that ethanol production is scarce in Canada, dude on the radio yesterday said that according to Transport Canada numbers, up to 90% of ethanol needed will have to be imported. Another well thought through piece of legislation.

Sounds like that Ethanol Plant In Vegreville Might get the go ahead.

Awesome! Burn fuel ton produce food that instead of eating, we use to produce fuel that contains close to the same, or less energy that the fuel originally used to grow the food. Wasting energy, causing pollution and driving up both food and fuel prices in the process. Sounds like a plan... what are they waiting for? :realmad:

My owners manual for my car says not to use any ethanol. I have always used Shell V-Power due to this. Expensive but worth it to keep out of the shop. My toys always run premium fuel as well so no point in changing now.

All major fuel outlets will have ethonal fuel, regular fuel will contain 10% ethonal, midgrade will contain 5% and premium will contain 0%.
All Shell outlets have had there tanks cleaned and pipeing flushed and new ethonal filters installed. there will be a few ma & pop store's that will not have ethonal fuels.
Be warned though the ethonal fuel will burn out the intake valves on your toys and or burn out your engine, if you are running regular fuel in your quads, water toys, boat engines your best to run premium fuel.
As for Esso, Petrocan,Co-ops there sites did not have there tanks cleaned, Petro can is haveing problems now with plugged filters on a daily bases.

Soooo does that mean that the CO2 footprint from importing that ethanol cancels out this supposed reduction in CO2 emmissions while running it in our vehicles?? Well done govt of AB!! :p
