Yes Having the same problem and only have about 120 Km on it. other then that i do like the ski and the way they handle.

I have about 500 km's now and my skis look like they have 3 seasons on them. Really low density is nice for weight reduction but they wont hold up long. This really hurts after running Simmons on one of my sleds that looked new after 8 years of hard riding.

This is starting to get to me know with all the people having issues with the skis so big question is what is brp gonna do about it??? I'm heading to revy this weekend and really dont feel like busting out the clippers again every ride

No your absolutely right.....it was only a quick fix.but it will keep em from breaking....my buddy has made a few calls and is waiting to hear back on what will happen as far as replacement or change out to a different ski......I think it should be covered by the manufacturer......should it not........worth the call to see if you can recover your costs and get a more reliable ski on there before it turns too bad to ride on.

I agree 100% family owns 7 car dealerships and something like this, this soon into riding would be covered forsure or it would be announced in a major factory recall! skis are kind of important on a sled!

I only have pilot 9's in stock at the moment for replacements, Kenny G my brp warranty rep is back in the office on monday so hopefully he'll get back to me then......As I said mine are peeling too so I'm interested to see what he has to say and how many other guys will are unhappy, that plastic is pretty soft imo........

Thanks Lucas Yeah forsure that plastic is super soft on them i'm interested to hear what BRP is gonna do about it to haha. the skis on my 08 bounced off everything in site and never once got a gouge in them

i dont know how they thought they would last,the outside edge is so thin.not really sure they work better.

no if you read it, it says I have now put on 280 km's but the the ski started to peel before the first ride and has been peeling ever since!

I had the same thing happen on my old Rev, turns out it happend while loading on my sled deck the ski rubbed on the side of the ramp and peeled it! Might be your prob...

ya i'm really trying to figure it out I have a feeling it may be put I put some new simmons skis on today and grinded down some edges that may cause contact so I guess we will see what happens tommorow hopefully it is just a grinding down my ramp issue i'm to embarrassed to post the pics of my skis the look like they are 20 years old

you are one of the lucky ones forsure then! i'm getting the pics of them know looks like there was some contact on the ramps wich i can see the peeling on the undersside od my ski by my carbide but not on the side edge of the ski were mine is really peeling off I even checked the ski as it came up the ramp (from us taking to people and pulling it up to see were contact spots were) and none of the contact spots were on the sides of the ski all underneath and by the carbides oh well new simmons skis on and loving them
