etec muff pot locations

were is everyone mounting there muff pots I have mine as far back to the y-pipe as i can (still have an inch of baseplate touching the pipe heat shield) and can only get food luke warm and that is with riding and pulling hills all day long. i tried wrapping food in tinfoil still no luck,tried it with the heat bags still nothing! any info would be great I really dont wanna start hacking into the heat shield

Think that I might go with the "cooker thing" can! Not many options for a muff pot on the e-tec!

Here is where i put mine it was a real pain to put it on not a lot of room but it fits.
